We offer new GMA 48x40 pallets, used and refurbished pallets (Grades A, B, and C), custom and re-manufactured pallets, export pallets meeting ISPM-15 standards, and heavy-duty pallets for specialized applications. We also repair, sort, and buy back used pallets.
The standard GMA (Grocery Manufacturers Association) pallet is 48 inches x 40 inches. This is the most common pallet size in North America and is accepted by major retailers, warehouses, and distribution centers. We also manufacture custom sizes to your specifications.
Yes. Our Sparks manufacturing facility is equipped with Viking Champion automated nailers and can produce custom-dimensioned pallets to your exact specifications. Custom pallets are ideal for non-standard products, export configurations, or specific rack systems. Contact us with your dimensions and load requirements.
A re-manufactured (re-mfg) pallet is built using recovered lumber from damaged pallets. Components that are still structurally sound are salvaged and assembled into a new pallet that meets GMA specifications. Re-manufactured pallets offer a cost-effective and environmentally responsible alternative to new pallets.
Yes. Heat-treated (HT) pallets are available and are standard for our new pallet production. Heat treatment kills insects and larvae in the wood without chemical use, and is required for international shipments under ISPM-15 regulations.
Pallet grades indicate the condition and quality of used pallets. Grade A pallets are in excellent condition — nearly like-new with minimal wear, no broken boards, and consistent appearance. Grade B pallets are in good, serviceable condition with minor cosmetic damage. Grade C pallets are functional but show significant wear and may have repaired boards. All grades are structurally sound and safe for use.
Grade A pallets are premium used pallets in excellent condition. They are uniform in appearance, have no broken boards, and are suitable for display, retail, or high-visibility warehouse use. They are often barely distinguishable from new pallets.
Grade B pallets are good, working-condition pallets with minor cosmetic imperfections such as staining, minor surface cracks, or slight board discoloration. They are ideal for internal warehouse use, manufacturing, or distribution where appearance is secondary to function.
Grade C pallets are functional pallets that show significant wear. They may include repaired boards, notched stringers, or discoloration. They are best suited for one-time use, temporary storage, or applications where pallet condition is not critical. All Grade C pallets in our inventory are structurally safe.
Our team will help you select the right grade based on your application, load weight, storage environment, and budget. For retail display or food-grade environments, we recommend Grade A or new pallets. For internal distribution or manufacturing, Grade B offers excellent value. Call us at (775) 250-7253 for a consultation.
ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is an international treaty that regulates wood packaging material used in international trade. It requires that all wood pallets used in cross-border shipments be heat-treated or methyl bromide fumigated to kill insects and pathogens. Pallets must be marked with the official IPPC stamp showing the treatment method and country code.
Yes. Pallet Broker LLC produces ISPM-15 compliant export pallets that are heat-treated and properly stamped with the IPPC mark. These are suitable for shipping goods internationally to countries that enforce ISPM-15 requirements, including Canada, Mexico, the European Union, China, Australia, and most other trading partners.
Most major trading countries require ISPM-15 compliance, including Canada, Mexico, all EU member states, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and over 180 other countries. If you are shipping internationally, your pallets must bear the official IPPC stamp. We can confirm requirements for your specific destination.
Heat-treated pallets are marked with the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) symbol — a stylized wheat stalk — along with the country code (US), a producer number, and the letters 'HT' for heat treatment. This mark is typically stamped on the stringer or block of the pallet.
Yes. Pallet Broker LLC operates a pallet buyback program. We purchase used pallets in bulk from businesses across Nevada and the surrounding region. If you have a surplus of pallets, call us at (775) 250-7253 to discuss pricing and pickup arrangements.
Yes. We offer pallet recycling and removal services. Our own fleet can come to your facility, remove your used or damaged pallets, and recycle them responsibly. This service is available throughout our Nevada service area and beyond. Contact us for scheduling and pricing.
Pallets that are collected are sorted by condition. Grade A and B pallets are resold. Damaged pallets are dismantled — usable lumber is salvaged for re-manufactured pallets, and unusable material is recycled. We strive to keep pallets out of landfills and maximize material reuse.
Yes. Our Las Vegas AMS facility specializes in pallet repair using automated repair lines. We can assess, sort, and repair your damaged pallet inventory, extending the useful life of your pallets and reducing replacement costs. Contact us for a repair quote.
